Tartofraises Inspired Vampy Abstract Nail Art

Saturday, October 03, 2015

Hello all! After a couple of weeks, most of those spent editing the banner (I hate editing), I finally have my blog up and running. For my first post, I thought I'd do a mani inspired by the freehand genius, Tartofraises. (If you can't understand her blog/YouTube, don't worry, I can't either)

OPI's "Lady In Black"

  Colours used:
- OPI's "Lady In Black"
- Opi's "Color To Diner For"
- White acrylic paint
- Black acrylic paint

"Macro" Shot (Not really, it's just a more zoomed in picture)
After I made a gradient fading from black to red, I freehanded some random shapes and circles. Then, to make the shapes stand out more, I traced the insides of those shapes with some black acrylic paint. Rather than overcomplicating (I really mean ruining) them with glitter or other details, I decided to leave them at alone after that.

Hope you enjoyed! Until next time -Speckledhoney (aka Candace)
